The Sacramento Area Water Works Association hosted the 2017 Top-Op's Challenge and San Juan walked away with a win! Teams of operators from the Sacramento Region were competing against each other in this modestly competitive question and answer tournament. Technical questions from the Sacramento State University Office of Water Programs courses were used in the competition.  Mike Heasley and Justen Cater from Field Services and Darren Van Dusen from Conservation were named the  2017 Top-Op’s Challenge Champions.
