San Juan Water District hit with Nuisance Litigation on Wholesale Water Rates
On April 10, 2024, San Juan received a lawsuit from two of its wholesale customer agencies, Citrus Heights Water District and Fair Oaks Water District, alleging that the wholesale water rates adopted in December 2023 by San Juan are illegal. This lawsuit has no merit, and San Juan will be filing its response with the court by May 27, 2024. San Juan’s news release and a copy of the lawsuit are at the following links:
