We offer free programs and services to help you save money on your bi-monthly water bill and protect our water supplies. With these services, you’ll find it easy – and rewarding – to use water efficiently.

Residential Retrofit Program

Free water-saving devices like low-flow showerheads, faucet aerators, and water displacement bags and flapper valves for toilets are available for customers living in homes constructed before 1992.

Irrigation Support

Our conservation staff, certified by the Irrigation Association and Cal Poly’s Irrigation Training and Research Center, can help:

Schedule or reprogram irrigation timers to ensure efficiency
Check irrigation systems for leaks or necessary repairs
Develop watering schedules
Provide recommendations to improve your system’s performance

Landscape Water Budgets

As part of our water efficiency services, we created a landscape water budget – a simple, free tool that helps determine how much water your landscape needs – for each nonresidential customer. Contact us at 791-2633 or for a budget worksheet today.

Resource Center

The Resource Center is our on-site library for customers. Come and check out books about soil aeration, mulches, drip irrigation, water efficient landscaping, fertilizers, water education information for children and more. Free pamphlets on these topics are also available. Open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at our main office.
